COOLER!!
Sounding out someone’s name as you’re saying it! I often find myself making peoples names into 5 syllable sounds as oppose to letters such as Willy Dufresne would be willy due-fres-neeee, but it’s even better when you meet Mr. Aiyghanighastani and have to use his name in a professional setting. You’ll get the odd person that will say “Just call me Mr. A” or “call me Frank” when there name doesn’t have a single F in it!! (Similar to Asian people’s “Canadian” names i.e./ Robert instead of Thang) I encountered this a few minutes ago with a client who wouldn’t accept Mr. A and wanted me to “gheeeet it raaaaaggght….try again!!”REAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYY!!!???
I felt like I was reading a god damn Dr. Seuss book!! COOLER.
